The European Centre of fruit and vegetables was inaugurated beginning of 1981.
It covers a wide field of more than 13 hectares.
The importers - exporters of fruit and vegetables, the City of Brussels and the Brussels Regional Development Agency, on whose initiative the Centre was created, actively participate in the life and the management of the Centre.
The situation of the Centre is strenghtened by the position of Brussels as capital city of Europe. Its operation has a very important economic and social repercussion for the Region of Brussels - Capital.
